Special Interest Groups(SIG's) / Special Research Groups(SRG's) primarily focus on using a specific Computer Genealogy Program or concentrate in Genealogical Research in specific areas or countries.

All attendance is free and your contribution to these groups is greatly encouraged.




Legacy Genealogy Program SIG:

Meetings are generally held on the 3rd Thursday of each month from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm in the Community Room, Lower Level of the Albuquerque Main Library.

Please note that this group does not meet in December.

AGS Writers Group

The AGS Writers Group is NOT meeting at this time.

This group is looking for someone to help or take over as a new chair person.

Volunteers are encouraged to contact AGS by e-mail or attend one of the Societies's regularly scheduled monthly meeting on the second Wednesday of the month starting at 10:00am in the Albuquerque Main Library, 501 Copper NW, Albuquerque, NM 87102




German Research Group

Meetings are generally held on a "quarterly basis" of the following months:
January 4,   April 4,    July 5,    October 3 ,  from 10:15 am to 12:00 noon on the second floor of the Albuquerque Main Library in the Genealogy Area.

Irish Research Group

Meetings are generally held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 10:30 am to 12:00 noon on the Lower Level of the Albuquerque Main Library.

The Irish Group in looking for a new chair person.

Scandinavian Research Group

Meetings are generally held on the 2nd Thursday of the months from 10:15 am to 12:00 noon on the second floor Genealogy Center of the Albuquerque Main Library.
